  Keith's Novels
Semper-Fi-Do-Or-Die is Marine history and covers the soldier’s story from P.I. to Vietnam and back to returning veterans' agony in the World they left behind. The author scores quickly with Semper-Fi-Do-Or-Die, a hard-edged look back in Marine Corps history that transports us to Parris Island, the Marine Corps boot camp, in South Carolina, where boys are so expeditiously turned into (men) Marines, and in only ninety short days. The story begins in the fall of 1962 when we meet a group of characters that could only be drawn from reality and we subsequently follow them through the trial and tribulations and horrors of P.I. to their duty stations and then, for many of them, to Vietnam. For the ones that live through Vietnam it is no picnic back in the World and the author shows us vividly why we should all be concerned with returning veterans’ post-traumatic stress disorders and their terrible effects on not only the veterans themselves but society at large. In Semper-Fi-Do-Or-Die the author, a Marine veteran himself, in the early and mid-sixties, shows us what the Corps was really like during that tumultuous time in American history.

In his second published novel, "Miami Rock" Keith sets a blistering fast pace and this mystery/thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat, reading from the first page to the last, as you wonder what next calamity will befall one of the denizens of this sub-tropical area of the country, which many refer to as a paradise for its sandy beaches, perfect climate and famed tourist attractions. The Latin beat provides a backdrop for another side of Miami, however, for paradise can soon spiral into a purgatory, where crime is rampant and drugs are available on almost every street corner in certain neighborhoods. The main characters, a rough-hewn group of construction workers, on a job-site in Ft. Lauderdale, sojourn into Miami for a night out and encounter much more than they had bargained for, as rouge cops, drug dealers and a briefcase full of hundred-dollar bills all collide in a thriller you won't easily be able to put down.
